Newbury and Thatcham Archers is a group based in and around Newbury and Thatcham area of West Berkshire. Following successful training courses over the last few years our membership ended last year at 76. A few years ago the club's membership had fluctuated at around 40-50
We meet almost every week at a number of different sites in the area and have competitions and special events during the year.
The club started in July 1957 and to help celebrate we had a number of events that year.
In 1997 the club became Newbury and Thatcham Archers to better reflect the club´s growing number of members from the Thatcham area. At this time the club's logo was changed.
The club is not affiliated to any of the national archery associations such as the GNAS, NFAS or BLBS and therefore the membership fees are exceptional value for money.
